    The Grocery Basket is a lovely little café amd grocery store. They serve delicious home made soup, breads and cake at reasonable prices. I love having lunch there if I am downtown. At the back of the store there is a flavourful selection of cheeses which are defi nitely worth looking at. The staff are courteous and helpful. If you are strolling down Princess Street I would check out The Grocery Basket!

    This is a great alternative grocery store. I'm always a fan of their black bean brownies and their roof top patio. Expect to spend a little more because you're getting local food. What would really make it perfect for me is more/better vegan and veggie options. It feels like the type of place for great vegan finds but there's not too much (yet?).

    I stopped in on my way out of town on a Sunday morning for a coffee to go. I couldn't resist the baked goods right there at the cash! Super friendly girl at the counter & BEST.SCONE.EVER! My biggest mistake was only grabbing one. Who knew about this great little place? I can't wait to go back in and see what other goodies they have!
