My girlfriend had a training program on how to safely inject naloxone into people overdosing from opioid use. She came home to tell me a bunch of information about this training session. As someone who has taken the Primary Care Paramedic program and several first aid courses, I was surprised to hear the unsafe practices they teach for safe injection. There needs to be a lot better method for educating the community on safe injection. The staff apparently lack training of their own.
