My first time in Kingston in a while, and I had to check out the local game and comic stores. This is one of the best I've visited. Great finds and good deals.

Great store, great staff, with great selections, but not so friendly magic community. I've noticed people openly make snide comments about new players, not being fast enough, or good enough. Had fellow new players tell me they want to quit because of the "regulars" providing a more competitive atmosphere when it's a format like draft. As we all know, draft while, "competitive", is one of the most casual formats out there. As well, John could learn a thing about being a little more humble and not as condescending with people who do not agree with him, and to keep player conduct in check. If you want to encourage new Magic players to continue coming, your community and employees should also embrace the "fun" before "winning first". I will continue to come to your store as I haven't had any negative experiences otherwise other than Magic nights. However, I play Magic to have fun, not to be forced to play a certain way, or think a certain way. Some people play to win, and that's fine, others, who are new, including myself, play to enjoy the game their way, and we shouldn't feel bad for that.

Best place in Kingston to play boardgames or table top games. They have a huge variety of stuff, from comics to Magic cards to geeky tchotchkes. Staff are fantastic. My only negative point is it can be a little pricey, but it all goes to help keep this gem alive. Without it, nerds would have to go back to their basements.
